I am a full stack senior web developer who excels at building pixel-perfect user interfaces from custom designs with HTML, CSS & JS. I use PHP for back-end work with MySQL databases and APIs. I have experience with a variety of CMSs with MODX & WordPress being my main areas of focus.
I have developed & launched websites for hundreds of clients, and have provided website maintenance & consulting for many more.
Below is a sample of my work. Since most of these are live and were built for a CMS, some aspects of their current state may be attributed to other people.
I developed a love for both computers & art when I was a child. My first website was built in the GeoCities days to host mods I created for my favorite video game. In college, I chose to pursue a degree in Digital Media as it gave me the opportunity to learn the many ways that art & technology collide. In particular, I discovered using code to create visual experiences was something I had a passion for.
That led me to an internship with a website agency where I learned the ins and outs of the industry and how to build clean, functional websites. I eventually began leading their web department and could manage & develop entire projects from start to finish.
I am currently the lead developer for FHI 360's Design Lab. In this role, I get to build beautiful websites, solve problems, and provide training & assistance to my coworkers and clients.
